DESCRIPTION:
Gluconic acid (chemical formula: C6H12O7), it is colorless to light yellow transparent syrup-like liquid ,the glucose aldehyde formed by the oxidation of saccharic acid. Other name D-Gluconic acid solution; Gluconicacidaqsoln; D-Gluconic acid; (2R,3S,4R,5R)-2,3,4,5,6-pentahydroxyhexanoate (non-preferred name).


APPLICATION:
1. Used as a protein coagulant and food preservative;
2. Calcium salts of gluconic acid, ferrous salts, bismuth salts and other salts have been widely used in chemotherapy;
3. The metal complex of gluconic acid is widely used as a masking agent for metal ions in alkaline systems;
4. The aqueous solution is used as a food sour agent, preparation of sake, washing agent;
5. Use as Galalith remove agent for produce equipment of dairy factory.
