Snow -melting agent is a kind of chemical which can reduce the melting temperature of ice and snow. The raw materials of common snow melting agents are easy to obtain and cheap, and their main components are potassium acetate and chlorine salt. Snow melting agent can melt the snow on the road by reducing the melting temperature of snow and ice, which is convenient for road dredging. However, it is harmful. It is found that the residue of snow melting agent can corrode road surface and automobile rubber tire.
