Description 
 
  Zinc chloride is a kind of inorganic salt with the chemical formula of ZnCl2. It is widely used in industry. Zinc chloride is easily soluble in water, which is the most soluble solid salt (25 ° C, 432g / 100g). Deliquescence strong, can absorb moisture from the air and deliquescence. It has the characteristics of dissolving metal oxides and cellulose. Molten zinc chloride has good conductivity. When it is hot, a thick white smoke is formed. Zinc chloride is corrosive and toxic.      



Application

(1) Inorganic industry as an activator in the production of activated carbon makes activated carbon porous and increases its surface area. It is also used to make anti foaming foam extinguishing liquid and raw material for producing zinc cyanide. Organic industry is used as solvent of polyacrylonitrile, contact agent, dehydrating agent, condensing agent and deodorant of organic synthesis.
(2) The petroleum industry is used as a purifying agent. The dyestuff industry is used as the stabilizer of developing salt for ice dyes, and also for the production of reactive dyes and cationic dyes.
(3) Rubber industry is used as auxiliary material of vulcanization accelerator ZPC. Printing and dyeing industry is used as mordant, mercerizer and weight increasing agent.   
(4) It is used as zinc ion additive in electroplating industry. Pigment industry is used as raw material of white pigment. Metallurgical industry is used to produce aluminum alloy and treat metal surface. Used as rust remover in welding.
(5) Dyeing and weaving industry is used as mordant, mercerizer and sizing agent. Textile industry can be used as raw material (cotton fiber cosolvent) to produce sliver barrel, shuttle and other materials, which can improve the fiber adhesion.
